Google Classroom Launch

I was SO happy to connect on Google Meet this week and see everyone’s smiling faces. We didn’t plan on learning this way, but seeing each other was a good reassurance that we will figure this out together!

For the upcoming week of April 13-19, Google Classroom will officially launch as a soft start. This platform should be used to access lessons and submit work. However, as we are in the transition period, we will still send out the work through 3 channels for the week of April 13-19: email, blog, Google Classroom. Moving forward (April 20th onward), the work will only be posted on Google Classroom Monday mornings.

Each student received an email from me with an invite to join my Google Classroom. Please accept the invite to join. Please watch the video below on how to log into Google Classroom for the first time, and also how to submit assignments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09z7eLoD9Kw&t=3s

Google Classroom can be downloaded as an app to a smartphone or tablet, or you can log in on a computer. Some parents have noted that when required to take pictures of work and upload to Google Classroom, it is easiest when directly done on a tablet or phone through the application.

Stay well!
